Prologue (To A Blog)

Hello, greetings, and welcome to His Words - Not Mine, the hottest new gay social online networking spot. We'll be giving you loads of content that will fill your every dirty, wet desire! You'll be amazed every week as hulking studs give it their all for your viewing pleasure and titillation! And the best part is, anything goes!

Now that that's out of the way (and Dan has probably both shit himself and regretted every impulse that led him to agree to this), I should get to the real purpose of this site and introduction. His Words - Not Mine is a collaborative venture between Dan and myself (the disgracefully shy Famous M), which was born out of a combination of chest-thumping, bravado, and genuine interest in writing.

Like the header says, we're authoring a novel, each writing 13 of the 26 chapters. Every week we'll switch off with the latest installment of our story, which neither one of us is going to discuss with the other. Every Monday morning by 9am, one of us will post no less than 2000 words, and the other guy has a week to add his part - whether or not he likes what's been given to him. Kinda like my opening paragraph...there's no negating what's been put up or undoing what the other guy has done. We can only build on what's been given and lay options and openings for each other to use.

The writing order will be determined by a simple coin toss, and the first post will go up on Monday, June 2. The winner of the coin toss will be able to decide if they want to write first or defer starting duties to the other. Whoever does not write the first week will be able to decide guidelines and suggestions like the genre, theme, or setting. While they will not be posted here for you, the reader, they must be incorporated into the story by we authors. In consolation for not setting those parameters, the initial writer will have title rights to the story at the end.

Your feedback is welcome in our comment section, so let us know what you think as the story unfolds.

There you have it...we'll see you in a couple of days with the first part of our experiment.
